Candidates who manage to pass exam 70-887 earn the Microsoft Office Specialist (MOS): Word 2010 Expert Certification. Although this exam does not count as credit toward any additional certifications, many candidates choose to pursue certifications related to other Microsoft Office products such as Excel and PowerPoint. Microsoft also offers a similar certification path for Office 2007 products.
