Trouble Spots
One of the more difficult things about this exam is its use of a seemingly endless stream of acronyms. Make sure that you are familiar with terms like SSPI (Security Support Provider Interface), Data Definition Language (DDL), and Multiple Active Result Set (MARS). Knowing what all of the various acronyms mean is essential to passing this exam.
Preparation Hints
Probably the most important thing to be aware of when preparing to take this exam is that it is language specific. When the exam begins you will be asked to select between Visual Basic or C#. You must have a good understanding of one of these languages before taking the exam.
The other thing to keep in mind is that this exam delves heavily into SQL queries. Therefore, make sure that you have a good understanding of SQL Select statements.
