The 70-630 exam tests a candidate’s ability to manage and maintain SharePoint 2007. The exam should be considered essential for SharePoint 2007 administrators. Those who may be tasked with deploying SharePoint 2010 into an existing SharePoint 2007 environment can also benefit from this exam as it will help to build an understanding of the SharePoint 2007 nuances that you are likely to encounter during the transition to SharePoint 2010.
