Preparation Hints
First, you should review the exam syllabus. Try to get a good understanding of the objectives and identify areas where you need to spend extra time in your studies. Also, if you find that you don’t have practical experience in an area, that should be a flag that you need to spend more time studying in that area.
The CCDA takes a broaderrather than deeperapproach, so identification of key topics and considerations for the design process will help with focusing your studies.
Don’t invest preparation time in material that deals with practical application (for example, how things are configured). Simlets and simulators are not part of this exam. Instead, focus on subject matter reading and reinforcement using practice questions, chapter reviews in your material, note taking and review of design guide material.
