Celeron Mobile Processors
Intel has used the name "Celeron" for its low-end desktop and mobile PC processors for more than a decade. Celeron mobile processors feature slower clock speeds, smaller memory caches, and front-side bus speeds than Pentium E-series processors; and, like them, are based on Core 2 Duo designs. Celeron mobile processors are available in five series: T3000, T1000, SU2000, 900, and 500. Ultra low-voltage (ULV) Celeron mobile processors are sometimes used in netbooks, providing vendors an alternative to Intel's Atom processor family.
Celeron T3000 Series
These processors are the fastest Celeron mobile processors currently available, and have the following features:
- Two processor cores
- 1MB cache size
- Supports 64-bit operating systems and applications
- 800MHz front side bus
- 35 watts TDP
- Based on "Penryn" architecture
